Meet the Team

Rasheed Ogunlaru


“Know your magic, trust your magic, use your magic” 

Rasheed is a leading life coach, leadership/busines coach and motivational speaker. He is author of Soul Trader – Putting the heart Back into Your Business and is the Life & Business coach partner to the British Library Business & IP Centre. He has inspired thousands of people to start and grow their business through his books, courses and events.

Rasheed qualified as a coach with The Coaching Academy and has served as an associate trainer with the Academy for more than a decade. He often appears in the media including appearances on BBC and ITV News.  

He began his career in media relations as a press officer at Which? He is a trained trainer, media trainer and former Communications Manager – and a singer-songwriter. He is also a previous Co-Director of Samaritans (Central London Branch).


Rita Bailey

Director of Learning & Events

Rita Bailey is an international leadership coach, facilitator, mediator and author with a background in economic regeneration, learning & development and business psychology. For two decades she has helped major corporations, government agencies and private businesses alike to align and enhance business objectives and people performance.

Rita has worked as an international facilitator with Microsoft, an associate consultant with Chartered Management Institute and a mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation mentoring programme for female entrepreneurs. 

She is passionate about supporting and challenging new and established leaders in raising their self-awareness, understanding themselves and others whilst enhancing how to communicate with clarity during complex change environments. 

Rita designs and delivers bespoke leadership and coaching programmes, E learning, facilitates workshops, meetings and action learning. As an independent Workplace Mediator she transforms working relationships when there is a breakdown in trust and communications in teams.


Anna Gordon

Head of Community

You can only be your best self, not someone else’s.

An experienced Career & Executive Coach (ACC ICF), Anna’s mission is to support inspiring career journeys, helping  people enact positive change connecting them with their highest expectations of themselves in an authentic and sustainable way. Anna supports Leaders navigate complexity and ambiguity, and address issues limiting their success She shares her passion for personal development with ambitious professionals from different sectors and career stages, helping them articulate their unique strengths, skills and drivers helping them craft a story around what has led them to where they are today, and how they can align themselves with what they want to be part of in the future.

On the  British Psychological Society’s Register of Qualifications in Test Use, Anna specialises in Neo PI R3, and is a Certified Emergenetics Associate. Anna has completed an MSc in Coaching Psychology; her specialist research was on coaching with and in Nature which she is passionate about. 

As well as running her own coaching practice, Anna works as a University Career Coach and Consultant  where she oversees several programmes including  a dynamic Career Coaching Programme, coaches MBA students, and designs and delivers personal development workshops. Anna has coached on the Civil Service  Early Talent Programme and currently coaches on their Impact Programme as an Executive Coach. 


Rosalyn Carr

Editor, Inspiration Magazine

Rosalyn is a coach, writer and editor with 25 years’ experience across the consumer, business and corporate media spectrum, in print and online. Her roles have included news reporting, feature writing, copywriting, editing and proofreading. She has a good knowledge of marketing, promotion and PR, and enjoys working with small businesses and individuals to help them clarify and convey their message effectively.

A health challenge in her 20s prompted her to explore personal development and wellbeing, and to qualify as a coach to help other people overcome their own challenges. She has written extensively about wellness, travel and spiritual topics, and is passionate about helping people to realise their full potential and to express their own unique gifts.

Rosalyn is a creative and intuitive ideas person who particularly enjoys working on new projects and launches, be it media related or helping those in transition to create a compelling new vision for their lives.

You & Your Brand

Suzanne is an international communication specialist, storyteller and facilitator with a passion for helping people to get their messages across clearly, consistently and authentically.

For the last 20 years, she has worked with individuals, corporates, non-profit organisations, private businesses, and academic and scientific institutes to take their communication to the next level. Since 2010, she has offered a blend of communication training, mentoring, facilitation, and moderation to people who want to communicate at their best.

She is a member of the International Association of Facilitators, where she created and runs their “Business of Facilitation” programme, and she runs practical business and branding masterclasses for the British Library, the Story Café, and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WIFI). She is also the founder of Aim4Avg, a campaign that invites people to think about their CO2 footprint and how to reduce it.


Karen Burke

Karen Burke is a respected and experienced business owner, accountant, Power Up Coach (Personal Performance & Business), author and speaker.

She is co-founder with her husband Devon Burke of the MindBody Therapy Centre in SE23, London, as well as a social enterprise T4H.

As an accredited and qualified accountant of 25+ years Karen delivers Annual Accounts; Corporate Tax PAYE, VAT, Bookkeeping and Self Assessed Tax Return services.  She is also an ardent believer in enabling entrepreneurs, coaches and career professionals to reach their full financial potential. Karen provides practical support and advice about growing a profitable business, and encourages clients to understand their finances to ensure they can confidently manage any challenges.

Karen is passionate about expanding people’s self-awareness and power, ensuring everyone she works with has that ‘hug’ they need when someone is in their corner. Translating her desire to support others into print, Karen co-authored Healing Hugs with Devon with the aim of providing a book full of practical tips and techniques.

Leigh Taylor

Leigh Taylor


Leigh has been running and organising holistic wellbeing and meditation retreats since 2000, with particular emphasis on retreats for women.

She has spent most of her adult life living in India and Nepal studying meditation and Asian philosophy, and undertaking extensive meditation retreats in the Himalayas.

Leigh is a seasoned expat and has lived in seven countries on three continents so understands the challenges expats face, working in corporate environments and navigating transition and change. 

She founded Red Lotus/ Sustainable Human Being in 2014 and qualified as a certified Life Coach in 2015 and Mental Health First Aid support (2020).

Her fields of expertise include Trauma Conscious yoga and restorative yoga nidra and mindful deep relaxation practices. She supports women with wellbeing and healing for chronic illness, chronic fatigue and burnout – with her most recent offering, ‘Nourishing Rest’ a part of ‘Sustainable Human Being’.

Leigh manages and co-facilitates Rasheed Ogunlaru’s Soul Trader retreats in Portugal with husband Justin, and currently lives in Barcelona. 


Elijah Khan

Elijah Khan is a marketing professional specialising in digital and social media marketing for coaches and small businesses.

His mission is to help small businesses compete with the big fish without spending a fortune on complicated analytics, influencer campaigns or increasingly expensive Google Ad campaigns. 

He has worked with small businesses, individuals and entrepreneurs, helping them achieve their goals by increasing brand awareness and redesigning their branding to look more professional. He specialises in affordable Facebook Ads to bring in more revenue and clients.

Elijah is a creative with a background in acting so he understands personal brands. He began his career working for marketing agencies before setting up his own agency, Elijah Khan Marketing in 2019.   


Dr David Greenberg

Dr David Greenberg


David is a coach, musician, psychologist and social neuroscientist.

He received his PhD in psychology from the University of Cambridge, his MA in clinical psychology from the City University of New York, and MPhil in social and developmental psychology from the University of Cambridge.

He has training in psychotherapy from City College of New York, and training in music therapy from Anglia Ruskin University. He has certifications in music therapy, sound healing, and coaching. David has taught undergraduate psychology courses at three different Universities. In 2017, he developed the first Psychology of Music course at City College of New York.

He is also the founder a new non-for-profit organization aimed at funding music research and therapy. The organization will fund cutting-edge research at top Universities and help support programs that provide music therapy to disadvantaged youth. 


Alan Cotterell

Founder and Operations Director

Alan is a software developer with a background in marketing and advertising. 

Being married to a success coach, Alan understands how coaching helps people and is passionate about developing tools and technology to help coaches.
